Overview

The blind are not physically disabled, they are differently-able. But unfortunately, they have become victims of social stigma and contempt. Their experiences may have traumatised them from childhood and they are denied opportunities to lead a life of dignity and self-respect. If brought up properly with equal love and care given to normal children, the blind too can excel in their chosen careers. Reports of blind students bagging first ranks in University exams are the best instances to show that they are no way behind normal children. Ma’din School for visually impaired is a result of this realisation and this institute accommodates blind children who are never reminded of their visual impairment but are mentally nourished by a group of well-trained teachers.
