School celebrates “Kerala Piravi”

Edupark, Melmuri: Ma’din Higher Secondary school celebrated Kerala Piravi, marking the birth of the Kerala state in India. Ma’din student’s union set up “Vidyarthi Kerala”, setting up Kerala map putting hands together in the form of Kerala Ma’din Higher Secondary School campus. The state of Kerala was created on November 1, 1956. November 1 is therefore known as Kerala Piravi Dinam (day) in the state. Malayalees around the world celebrate November 1 as Kerala Piravi, which in Malayalam “the birthday of Kerala”.

School conducted essay writing and debate programme as part of this event. Vice principal Saidalavi Koya master published class magazines of 18 classes.

Vice Principal Saidalavi Koya Master presided over the function. Mrs Iqbar, Abdul Rahman, Abdul Salam Madasheri, Krishna Kumar, Prasad and shiju also addressed the audience on the occassion.
